They gave me a brand new scratch glass, but 8 inches deep gouge .. Glass tech could not fasten down the windshield rubber pieces..Poor workmanship.. I had to take my windshield to be replaced twice due to quality of work very poor workmanship.

After replacement HUD invisible, rear view mirror trim detached and water leaking into car 3 days later. The Safelite windshield also interfered with the optical sensor mounted behind the rearview mirror to detect water so the intermittent wiper function did not work and the ambient light sensor used by the mirror system to compare external light levels also did not work leading to dim gauges especially in daytime . This drained the battery requiring battery replacement even though the battery was a year old. This Safelite Largo location is off the main road well back in a network of small street. It was necessary to bring the car there to confirm that the heads-up display was nonfunctional with the Safelite windshield and then required another visit to have an OEM windshield installed to address the problems. The staff did get an OEM windshield approved but did not apologize for the initial workmanship or the multiple trips I needed to make . The staff at the Safelite windshield facility were either very friendly or not friendly. Some of the staff seemed unhappy that I dropped the car off before work at 7 AM and picked it up after work at 415. They seemed to want me

I realize appointment's are necessary for a business. However, my daughter who is an ICU nurse, works nights was 20 minutes late to her second appointment with your service department because you couldn't fix it the first time she had it there. It is quite a struggle for someone who works nights to make daytime appointments when most of the time they work back-to-back shifts. There was no, looking to see if another appointment was available that day, which there was, you just told her she would have to reschedule due to being 20 minutes late. She did explain she was late due to an emergency at work which means there was a life on the line and she had to stay to help save, said life. It is even stated on your websites that you support first responders, military, teachers, and healthcare workers. Well there's more to supporting them than a 10% off coupon. Maybe a little customer service next time would be helpful. I find it sad that you could not find it in your schedule with your open appointments to try to at least accommodate her. From the reviews I have read, it seems this to be an issue with several of your other customers not being able to fix the windshield properly the first

I had Safelite Auto Glass come out to my house to install a new windshield in my Tundra. The technician Taylor was very professional he called me before he got here to inform me he was going to be here in about a half hour. Which the company had given me a window of about when they would be here. It may have taken an hour and a half. When he left everything was spotless. I would highly recommend Safelite Auto Glass for your windshield to be replaced.

SCAM ALERT!!!! SCAM ALERT!!!! I literally gave them my vehicle with no issues, and they returned it with all the sensors damaged. They claimed they couldn’t calibrate them and told me to take it to Subaru for an easy fix. Very unprofessional. When I tried to get in touch with the manager, it was almost impossible. I know GEICO sends their customers there, but be aware, find somewhere else. Two months later, my windshield cracked, and it wasn’t from a rock. It’s possible it was due to faulty installation.
